My abstract pieces begin with ideas about color, movement, and emotion and how to manifest these elements in a painting or mixed-media piece.
In addition to works created for private spaces, I have experience collaborating with groups and organizations to co-create art displaying the values of those involved while adding color and beauty to public spaces. In many instances the works begin with actual hands-on contributions from the community of people who will be displaying the finished piece.
